Along with other health care organizations, the American Heart Association (AHA) compiled interim guidance supporting rescuers that may treat victims of cardiac arrest with suspected or confirmed COVID-19. The increasing number of COVID-19 cases creates the need to address potential modifications of or changes to established practices concerning resuscitation efforts. Accordingly, the AHA posted new algorithms and a free course which support the published interim guidance concerning COVID-19 patient treatment.
